Dear Student,

Thank you for our interest in our university.

Currently, HKU does not offer any degree transfer programme to Mainland
students. So you would like to study in HKU for undergraduate degree, you may
need to start from year 1.

You may apply to our university as a University Student through the Admission
Scheme of Undergraduate Students from Mainland. Therefore, you may apply for
all
undergraduate progamme listed in our programme list, including biology.

Together with the application form and the original copy of the receipt of the
application fee, you have to submit your academic results in the Mainland
University which you are attending. You may also provide the previous Gao Kao
(NJCEE) results for our reference.

If you are to be admitted to our university, you may be waived of the
preparatory year of study in a Mainland institution but directly come to HKU
for first year of study. However, the credits you have gained in the Mainland
University which you are attending will not be transferred. The final decision
will be subject to case by case.
